I made an iOS app!. It is called PooPal, an app to help you track your poo 💩. Why did you build an app? In 2025, I decided I wanted to learn more about app development. Midway through the year I was switching jobs from E.ON Next to Monzo and had a couple of weeks on my hands, so naturally I started learning SwiftUI with HackingWithSwift. After about ~50 days (out of 100) of that course, I decided there’s only so much tutorialling you can do before I think it is best to jump out into the big scary world and make something for yourself....
After a few months of learning web development (ReactJS as frontend, NodeExpress and also Firebase as backend options) I decided to make a bigger project to provide a website where user’s can sign-up and track their parkrun statistics and have cool visualisations. Here is my showcase below:

I’ve never won… When this tournament came around, I realised it is a perfect opportunity for a beginner ReactJS / frontend project. And so, my first frontend portfolio project was born - the Sweepstaker....
